Northwest Recruiting Roundup Vol. 2

College basketball practices have started throughout the nation. High school gyms in the Northwest have continued to host many college coaches. Prospects have made unofficial visits, official visits, and have committed since the last installment of the Northwest Recruiting Roundup. Here is a rundown of what has been going on here in the Northwest.

2015

Kyle Foreman (Bellevue HS) - Foreman recently committed to Boston University.

Mandrell Worthy (Eastside Catholic HS) – Montana State received a commitment from Worthy.

Matisse Thybulle (Eastside Catholic HS)– It came down between Washington and Gonzaga. At the end of it all, Washington received a commitment from Thybulle.

Robert Franks (Evergreen HS) – Franks recently committed to Washington State.

Max Jones (Davis HS) –Jones committed to Lewis and Clark State.

Vionte Daniels (Federal Way HS) – Daniels took an official visit to Northern Colorado.

Deante Strickland (Central Catholic HS) – Strickland is a tough little guard on the court who recently picked up an offer from Hawaii-Hilo.

 

2016

Payton Pritchard (West Linn HS) - Gonzaga has been showing strong interest in Pritchard as of late. Pritchard recently visited Gonzaga and Oregon unofficially. Many coaches mentioned in the first installment have been back to visit West Linn.

Alphonso Anderson (Garfield HS) – Anderson is expected to have a big year at Garfield. Anderson made a trip to Oregon State for an unofficial visit.

JaQuori McLaughlin (Peninsula HS) – McLaughlin has hosted many schools at Peninsula High School in September. Recently Arizona assistant Daemon Stoudemire checked in with McLaughlin.  

Ben Borja Jr – Borja Jr has been working hard the last couple years on his game. Borja Jr received an offer from University of Alaska Anchorage.

Sean Gummersall (Seattle Prep HS) – The big man has been receiving interest from Montana. Gummersall recently visited Montana on an unofficial visit.

Sam Cunliffe (Bishop Blanchet) – Gonzaga has been to Bishop Blanchet more than once. Head coach Mark Few checked in with Cunliffe.  

David Jenkins Jr (Wilson HS)– St Marys is the newest school who has checked in with Jenkins Jr.  

Jalen McDaniels (Federal Way HS) – Montana and Seattle U have made their way to Federal Way High School to watch McDaniels.

Isiah Brown (Lakeside HS) - St Marys, Portland, and Montana have checked in with the Lakeside point guard.


2017

Roberto Gittens (Foss) – Arizona assistant Dameon Stoudemire also made a trip to Foss High School to check in with Gittens.

TJ Mickelson (Black Hills HS) – Mickelson is a talented guard who should get some more looks within the next year. Seattle U checked in with Mickelson a couple weeks ago.

2018

Devin Culp (Gonzaga Prep) – Culp is a young prospect who should get many offers down the road. Culp has heard from Gonzaga, Washington State, and the University of Portland. Culp checked out Oregon State’s campus on an unofficial visit.

Jacob Hjort (Columbia River HS) - Nevada recently watched Hjort workout.


2019

Pierre Crockrell Jr (Homeschool) – Crockrell Jr made a trip to Corvallis to check out Oregon State’s campus on an unofficial visit.
